From 13th – 15th March 2026, Dancers across the British Isles will unite together over this fantastic weekend to compete for prizes, prestige, British Champion titles and qualification to the major UDO European and UDO World Championships 2026!

We welcome all ages and abilities & pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable, supportive and family friendly atmosphere at this event.

There will be UDO British, UDO Encore, Exhibition Arena, Performance Stage, Workshops, Masterclasses and so much more!

Battle Of Britain – The highest scoring Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales will battle it out to become Battle Of Britain Champions 2026. 

Encore Levels: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced
Please Note: All Solo & Duo categories will be split into Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced and there is a possibility they could be combined based on the number of entries we receive. Therefore, the music set for each AGE CATEGORY will be the same regardless of if you are in the Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced categories for your Solo/Duo.
Encore Ages: Under 8’s (4-7), Under 12’s (8-11), Under 16’s (12-15), Over 16’s (16+)

We pride ourselves in providing the best lineup of Choreographers and Judges across the UK to attend this event. We want to ensure we offer dancers the best training at our events. Our previous workshop lineups have consisted of a variety of AMAZING Choreographers.

DANCE COLLEGES & EXHIBITIONS

We will have some of the UK’s TOP Dance Colleges & Exhibitions at the UDO British Dance Festival 2026. They will have a Trade Stand for you to ask any questions you may have about the Courses they offer AND will be providing you with a Show Stopping Performance on the Saturday Evening!

BRITISH DANCE FESTIVAL 2026 IS A QUALIFIER  UDO DANCE STARS (ENCORE)

To qualify for UDO Dance Stars – You need to simply attend the British Dance Festival.

Commercial Solos:
Music will be chosen at random by the DJ. It will be a set BPM suitable for the ability & age of the Dancers in that category.

Contemporary / Lyrical Solos FINALS ONLY:

The DJ will play these set tracks for each age category. The track will be played from the beginning for approx 60 seconds.

Dancers are permitted to choreograph 6 counts of 8, and then keep repeating this if they wish. There will be approx. 5 – 10 duos on the floor at one time.

If you are an Advanced Soloist/Duo and you reach the final 5, each Solo/Duo will have a 30 second spot, the music will start from the beginning each time.

• Please ensure that the tickets you order are all required as once ordered they are non-refundable
• If you decide to cancel after you have confirmed numbers, you will still need to pay for your tickets
• If you do require any further tickets, they can be bought on the day of the event as long as it is not a sell out
• The running order for the day will vary depending on the number of entrants registered for the event, we reserve the right to change the running order as and when necessary.
•  All entries to dance need to be done online at least 7 days before the event – this entry is free.
