The UDO Middle East Dance Festival IS BACK BIGGER AND BETTER in 2025 hosted by UDO Dubai.

Alongside our Streetdance championships we also have added our Encore categories for this year so dancers have the opportunity to compete in a total of 6 styles:

• Commercial
• Contemporary/Lyrical
• Jazz
• Musical Theatre
• Ballet/Tap

This is open to ALL COUNTRIES & All different ages/levels are welcome from Beginner to Advanced.

We will be offering Teams, Solo & Duo competitions in a variety of styles.

Teams – You may choose a maximum of THREE Dance Styles from the below to compete in as a team. 

• Musical Theatre
• Jazz
• Contemporary/Lyrical
• Commercial
• Ballet/Tap

Age Categories (For Teams, Duos & Solos):
Mini’s (Ages 4-7)
Junior’s (Ages 8-11)
Teen’s (Ages 12-15)
Seniors (Ages 16+)

All TEAM music should be 2 mins, 30 Seconds maximum. (Please note teams will be penalised if their music exceeds this)

Solo & Duo Music:

SOLOS – You may choose a maximum of ONE Dance Style from the below to compete in as a Solo.

• Commercial
• Contemporary/Lyrical

Commercial Solos:
Music will be chosen at random by the DJ. It will be a set BPM suitable for the ability & age of the Dancers in that category. 

Contemporary / Lyrical Solos FINALS ONLY:
Please Note, Music will be RANDOM for all heats. If you reach the FINAL in your age category then you will be performing to a SET Song. The list of Set Songs for the Finals are listed below:

The DJ will play these set tracks for each age category. The track will be played from the beginning for approximately 60 seconds.

Dancers are permitted to choreograph 6 counts of 8, and then keep repeating this if they wish. There will be approx. 5 – 10 duos on the floor at one time.

Tickets:

• DANCER/SPECTATOR TICKET (BATTLE ONLY FRIDAY) – AED50.00
• DANCER TICKET (ALL COMPETITIONS) – AED350.00
• ADULT SPECTATOR FULL EVENT TICKET – AED275.00
• CHILD SPECTATOR FULL EVENT TICKET (6-17 YEARS) – AED125.00
• FAMILY FULL EVENT SPECTATOR TICKET (2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN) – AED695.00

Terms & Conditions

• Please ensure that the tickets you order are all required as once ordered they are non-refundable
• If you decide to cancel after you have confirmed numbers, you will still need to pay for your tickets
• If you do require any further tickets, they can be bought on the day of the event as long as it is not a sell out
• The running order for the day will vary depending on the number of entrants registered for the event, we reserve the right to change the running order as and when necessary.
•  All entries to dance need to be done online at least 7 days before the event – this entry is free.
• Please remember all dancers must be UDO Members – you can register for free UDO membership by clicking the MEMBERSHIP tab above

Registration for the Encore styles will open on January 1st 2025.
